Guardians of the Desert ( GDs )  is an Eco-Tourism development and support initiative focused on empowering Palestinian Bedouins through the use of goal-oriented tourism with extra environmental care and preservation .

  • Joining this initiative will give you a chance to experience the true Palestinian Bedouin life as you will live with a Bedouin family and work, learn and cook/eat with them.
  • Understand and enjoy the Bedouin life as you live with the Palestinian desert knights, live under the stars and wonder through biblical and ancient grounds.
  • Stopping forced sedentism and fighting the occupation at the front lines while helping save a dyeing culture and preserving a great heritage that nomads share all around the world.

Bedouins Without Borders (BWB) will facilitate your stay and all related accommodations and assign one of its local Bedouin guides to accompany you through this whole experience and translate to English between you and your Bedouin hosting family, providing transportation to and from the Bedouin site. On the other hand, your contribution will help the Bedouin site or family to improving their resilience and income in forms of sheep/goat feed and supplying tools and Veterinarian care offered by BWB , all in an eco-tourism approach ( nature preservation is as important as cultural preservation )
