Bedouin Heritage Folk Bands

Bedouin Heritage Folk Bands

Bedouins have unique and charming culture and heritage like many other rural communities around the world.

BWB hopes to safeguard and promote Bedouin’s artistic culture through the maintenance and development of Bedouin musical bands in multiple tribes and geographic areas. Teaching young Bedouin men and women the old chants and the use of traditional /contemporary musical instruments.

The Bedouin folk band unit serves as a gathering place for all young men and women that want to research, collect and learn all about Bedouin music. The bands shall improve and develop their performance to become musical ambassadors for this unique culture.

Currently, there are two bands under development one in Jericho and the second in Bethlehem.
